Rhonda S. Ellis, DBA
Dr. Rhonda S. Ellis is an executive leadership coach and serves clients primarily within the healthcare industry. Rhonda is certified as an internal coach through the Hudson of Institute of Coaching (2018), an International Coaching Federation (ICF) approved program. She has been a Founding Partner, Certified Leadership Coach, Trainer, and Speaker with the John Maxwell Team since 2011. Rhonda is on track to complete her Associate Coach Certification (ACC) through ICF in the spring of 2019. She is the founder of INTOUCH Coaching, LLC and as an external coach provides coaching/training and consulting in leadership development, personality profiling, customer care, change management, generational collaboration, emotional intelligence, and organizational culture.
Rhonda’s passion is helping organizations increase a positive customer experience. The customer experience is not just about the people that buy your products and/or services. The customer experience is also about the team member that relies on you to provide an exceptional culture to do their work. Rhonda designed the Awake to Customer Care curriculum to bring teams to a higher standard of excellence that demonstrates a greater degree of connection, compassion, and competence. A few clients she has served include Health Partners PHO, Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas (MANA), The Eye Center, Henry Eye Clinic, PrimeCare Medical Clinics, AirMed International, Lifeguard Ambulance, etc.
Rhonda’s full-time career in higher education was from 1997-2015 with accomplishments to full professor. Universities she served include American Public University Systems (APUS), John Brown University, and Harding University as the founder and director of the healthcare management program in the College of Business at Harding University. She is a Doctor of Business Administration, Management/Healthcare Management with a specialization in organizational leadership. She still gives back to the higher education industry as an adjunct professor for APUS. Prior to her higher education career, she served as a clinic manager for various physicians for nearly ten years.

She holds the elected position as the External Relations Board Member for the Arkansas/Oklahoma International Coaching Federation (ICF) State Chapter. She is an active member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators. She enjoys giving back to her community by serving at New Life Church and with the Arkansas Dream Center.
